Playing Golf in Blackpool

Blackpool North Shore Golf Club is a challenging 18 hole par 71 course, measuring 6,444 yards playing off the white tees.

This course was home to the first fund raising event of The Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme in 1963. It was an international match – Britain v Rest of the World, which attracted many of the golfing greats such as Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player & Peter Allis to name but a few, all competing for The Prince Phillip Trophy, under the watchful eye of HRH Prince Phillip himself.
